V Bay Services LLC · vbayconnect.com · Effective September 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy is the notice of V Bay Services LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“V Bay,” “we,” “us”), for the website and service at vbayconnect.com (“V Bay Connect” or the “Service”). It explains what personal information we collect, that we do not sell it, and the limited management purposes for which we use it.
1. What V Bay is
V Bay Connect is a media and project lead-distribution service. We introduce people who need work done (“Clients”) to independent professionals and businesses (“Pros”), and we distribute the media, messages, and project inquiries those users choose to send. V Bay is not the contractor, employer, or insurer of a Pro, and V Bay is not the publisher of a user’s own social-media account. A Pro remains an independent business. A Client’s agreement for the physical work is with that Pro.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to open an account and operate the Service:
- Account data you type: name, email, phone, password, business name, service category, city, service area, profile photo, logo, and brand colors.
- Project and lead data: the service requested, job description, address or city you enter for a search, messages, estimates, and files you upload for that job.
- Media you choose to post or stream: photos, videos, captions, live-camera and microphone signals while a session is on, and a recording only if you start one.
- Connection data for networks you authorize (such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok, or LinkedIn): the account or Page you pick, and the access token that network issues so we can post only after you connect and send.
- Payment data needed to buy credits, pay a per-minute live session, or pay a Pro desk subscription. Card numbers are collected by the payment processor shown at checkout. V Bay stores the result of that charge (such as a customer reference, last four digits, and credit balance), not the full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and log records of sign-in, posting, and payment events, used to keep the account secure and to fix failed posts.
3. We do not sell personal information
V Bay does not sell personal information. “Sell” means disclosing personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, as that term is used in the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (Civil Code § 1798.100 and following). We do not sell, rent, or trade customer lists, lead lists, emails, phone numbers, videos, or social tokens. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not allow data brokers to buy user data from this Service.
4. Use is limited to management of the Service
We use personal information only to manage V Bay Connect. That means: creating and securing your account; showing Pros to Clients in the city and radius you search; delivering a project lead to the Pro the Client selects; sending the messages required to schedule an estimate; posting or streaming media only when you authorize it; calculating credits and the charges described in Section 7; preventing spam, fraud, and abuse; complying with law; and answering a request you send us. We do not use your information to build a product that is sold to other companies, and we do not use it for any purpose that is not the operation of this marketplace, media desk, and lead desk.
5. Lead distribution
When a Client searches for a service and contacts a Pro, V Bay distributes that lead. The Client’s name, contact details, location, and project description are disclosed to the Pro the Client chooses, so that Pro can respond. The Pro’s public profile (business name, service, city, photos, and rates the Pro chose to show) is disclosed to the Client. That disclosure is a service communication between the two parties to the inquiry. It is not a sale of the lead to an outside list. We do not give that lead to Pros the Client did not contact, except where the Client asks to be shown nearby Pros in the search results.
6. Reposting and social media
Posting to another network happens only after you connect that network and send the post, or you leave “Also send to my pages” on for a post you publish. By connecting, you authorize V Bay to act on your behalf for that network, limited to the permissions that network shows you (for example, publish a video or photo you submitted). We store the token that network returns so the permission does not have to be asked again on every post. We refresh a token only to keep a connection you already approved.
You may disconnect a network on the Social page. After disconnect, we stop using that token for new posts. We do not change a post that the network has already published; you delete that copy on the network itself. You are responsible for the content and for following that network’s rules. V Bay may refuse a post that the network rejects, that is illegal, or that is spam. A network may place its own limit on how often an app may post. Those limits are the network’s, and a failed post is reported back to you in the Service.
7. Live streaming
A live session uses your camera and microphone only while you start a broadcast or join a call. We use that stream to show the session to the people you invited or who open your live, and, if you turn sharing on, to send a watch link to networks you already connected. The per-minute price is the price the broadcaster sets in that account. The timer charges the viewer’s credits only while the broadcaster is actually live. V Bay retains a processing share of a paid entertainment, influencer, politician, or similar live session. A remote estimate for a home or property project is a service call and is not billed as a paid entertainment stream.
If a broadcaster marks a stream as adult, the viewer must confirm they are 18 or older before the picture is shown. V Bay Connect is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A broadcaster who streams adult content is responsible for following the law that applies to that content, including age gates and record-keeping duties that apply to the broadcaster.
8. Payments
Payment information is used only to complete the charge you start, to keep a credit balance, to apply a per-minute live charge, to bill a Pro desk subscription after any stated free trial, and to refund or reverse a charge when we are required to. The payment processor is a service provider acting on our instructions for that transaction. Charges you buy directly from another company, such as X API credits bought on console.x.com, are billed by that company under its own terms, not by V Bay.
9. Service providers, not buyers
We disclose personal information only to processors who host the Service, carry video, send email, or process a payment, and only so they can perform that work for us. Those providers may not use the information for their own marketing. We may also disclose information if a law, court, or government request requires it, or to investigate fraud or a safety threat. A business transfer of V Bay Services LLC, if one occurs, would transfer account records to the successor, which would remain bound by this Policy.
10. Legal compliance
We handle personal information in line with this Policy and with privacy laws that apply to a Michigan company operating a United States website, including state consumer privacy laws that give residents the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale. Because we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, a “Do Not Sell or Share” request is already honored by the way the Service is built. We do not discriminate against a person for exercising a privacy right.
11. How long we keep it, and deletion
We keep account, lead, media, and token records for as long as the account is open and the feature is connected, and for a short period afterward if needed to finish a charge, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal hold. You may disconnect a social network on Social. You may permanently delete the account under Settings → Delete Account. That removes the profile and associated personal data from our active systems. If you cannot sign in, email info@vbayservices.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” We process that request within 1 to 2 business days, except for records we must keep to complete a payment dispute or obey a law.
12. Security and your choices
We use access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS) to protect accounts and tokens. No method of storage is perfect. You may request a copy or correction of your account information, or appeal a denied deletion, by emailing info@vbayservices.com. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before we act.
13. Changes
If we change this Policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date. Continued use of V Bay Connect after that date is acceptance of the updated Policy. The prior short notice is replaced in full by this Policy.
